Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms apply to the Dramscope app and this website, provided by Epicurean Digital Consultants Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16622200), 30 Durham Road, Wimbledon West, London SW20 0TW ("we", "us"). By using Dramscope you agree to them. Contact: hello@epicureandigitalconsultants.com.

1. Age

You must be at least 18, and of legal drinking age where you live, to use Dramscope.

2. What Dramscope does

Dramscope identifies whisky bottles from photos and shows information including estimated values, rarity and places to sell. Dramscope does not sell alcohol, buy bottles or act as an auctioneer or broker.

Valuations are estimates, not appraisals. Estimates are based on available auction and retail data for the same or similar bottles. The price a real bottle achieves depends on its condition, fill level, packaging, provenance, authenticity and market demand on the day. Identification can be wrong. Before you sell, buy, insure or open a bottle you believe is valuable, get a professional appraisal from a specialist auction house.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Account › Delete account) or on our deletion request page. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel that separately.

5. Fair use

Don't misuse Dramscope. That includes copying or scraping our data, reverse engineering the app, using it to deceive buyers or sellers, uploading unlawful content, or interfering with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design and our content belong to us or our licensors. Bottle data may come from third-party providers. You keep ownership of photos you upload and give us a licence to process them to provide the service.

7. Responsibility

We provide Dramscope with reasonable care and skill. Because valuations are estimates, we are not responsible for losses from decisions you make based on them, such as selling below market value or buying above it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Changes and availability

We may update Dramscope and these terms. If a change significantly affects you, we'll tell you in advance in the app. We may occasionally pause the service for maintenance.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Please drink responsibly. For advice, visit drinkaware.co.uk.
